"The plot was twisty and interesting, and kept me guessing"
"Awesome! A MUST READ if you're into romance and intrigue! I don't often read this genre, but "Roses" had me hooked from start to finish. I read it in one sitting...couldn't put it down! The characters are real, and I connected with each and every one of them. The storyline twisted and turned to the end, full of suspense and emotionally charged romance. Great work Alison Clifford!" "I loved it, I couldn't put it down"
"There are quite a few twists and turns in the first book of this series. I read it every chance I got. A question or two I had I suspect will be answered in book two. I really loved it that the male lead wasn't a pretty boy type. And the female lead has her own problems to overcome, but not your usual fare. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of suspense and romance." "I thought the story was good. Had it's slow moments. And when you think you are just about done, it picks up again. Nice love story. And it will be interesting to see what she does in book 2." (4 out of 5 star review on Amazon)
Reviews for Retribution
"I rarely give 5-stars but this was a compelling read on many levels. The pace is steady and the tension is high; this is a book that is hard to put down. The characters of Beth, Warren, Sarah, Sam, Aden... they are the "good" guys, but with imperfections and histories. The little things (like Warren's jealousy and anger) make them more likable. They interact well, bonded by a common goal - in this story finding the blackmailer - but are still learning about each other. The stalker is obvious and intended as such, though the double importance of the pink rose isn't known for some time. It isn't until the end when the blackmailer makes a comment that points in that direction. At the same time, there is sufficient back story so it makes sense. The filtered truth that is in the final police report is also very believable. It definitely fits the bill of romantic suspense and is a clean read - no profanity, graphic sex or graphic violence. This is my first book by Alison Clifford, and it is the second in the series. This can easily be read as a stand alone, but I will be purchasing the first in the series and look forward to the third." (5 out of 5 star review on Amazon)
"Retribution is a well written novel that takes place in Washington D.C. Although Warren and Beth, the main protagonists, are at the heart of the story, they are not alone. The plot highlights the interactions between three couples, who are tied together by overlapping friendships and a shared secret from the past. At first, I was a bit confused by the multitude of characters, but as the story progressed their distinct personalities and back stories emerged. Both suspense and the romance were well developed within plot. The story moved along at a great pace, with interesting twists and turns along the way. If you are a fan of romantic suspense/thrillers, you will enjoy this book. BTW, the author is Australian, meaning she uses non-American spelling and you might occasionally encounter an unfamiliar turn of phrase – but nothing that can't be understood from context." "Just like in her first book, "Roses", this 2nd book in the series had me captivated from start to finish. Beth and Warren are back in another great adventure that once again twists and turns all the way to the finish line. A perfect blend of romance and suspense written in Ms Clifford's eloquent and flowing style. Another winner from Alison Clifford! Keep them coming :)" (5 out of 5 star review on Amazon)

White Rose Series (Roses, Retribution, and Deception)
"Absolutely loved the "Rose Series". I was hesitant because I don't normally
go for crime novels but found the books very easy reading and couldn't put
them down, read all 3 in a week. The stories and characters were so
relatable I went through the every emotion with the characters."
