I've decided to do something new on my blog instead of weekly book reviews -
Word on Wednesday. I hope you enjoy it!
This weeks word - CANT
Cant is used by people everywhere in many different forms.
Once used by criminals in England, thieves cant, was invented to deceive those outside their own group and keep their activities secret.
Some examples of thieves cant:
Cackling-cheats - chickens,
Glims - eyes,
Nubbing-cove - hangman.
What's it about?
It's about words and my life as a writer. There are also tips for those starting their writing journey, with a focus on self-publishing, and encouragement all round.
